Is anyone else having trouble getting onto the Playstation network just now?

im on it atm n there seems to be lag everywhere and its kicking me outta games

Apparently theres some huge problem globally. It's reset everyones PS3 date to 1/1/2000 00:00 and it won't even let me go on to play single player. It just boots you out of the game saying it cannot sync trophies the game will now quit.....even after I disable the internet connection. So I can't play anything.

I don't think it's been affecting them which is weird.

yes it is a slim.........on mw2 it says connecting to matchmaking server....

it seems to do that quite often though..

im in a game now.... everything seems fine.

I just went on it, couldn't log on but thought nothing of it and turned it off, Then I came on here and see your post talking about a global problem :/

i came off the game to do something... then went to go back on and it gave me some **** about trophies and it having to end the game.. then i just tried to put the game back on and it worked (i didnt turn my PS3 off at all)

Maybe this is some sort of Microsoft attack on the PSN? Maybe it might lead to a purge of all PS3s making us all by 360s???
Anyways, When MW2 first came out, were people getting a 'disk read error' message after taking it out and then putting it back in?

wow. i didnt know this and havnt turned mine on yet today. i have a slim but am still bit worried lol.

have warned my mate not to tunr his on until i give him green light.. also have u seen this

haha yeh made me chuckle. im getting ipod touch, double bed frame, sideboard and tv cabinet i think. the misses wants some furniture you see haha then the next custom order is a new laptop as im need of a upgrade

ok... its the system clock (from what i can see im 90% sure) and the only way to reset this clock is to take the battery out... as this clock can only go forwards and not backwards... the system clock didnt match up with the other os clock when it ticked over to 29th feb / 1st march and it checked with the os clock and basicaly said wtf are you doing... im reseting to 1999

because im sure its a hardware fault im interested to see how it does get fixed in the end because removing your battery voids warrenty and if people are going to be doing that then there could be a huge recall or something.. but dont expect anything to happen today, think they are waiting to see what happens tonight to see what it ticks over to...

thats from what i can see anyway... dont trust what i say lol this is my opinion from what i have seen on forums etc. and im not responsible for you taking your ps3 apart to take out your battery n u **** it up
