The two sites affected were http://www.360giveaway.co.uk and http://www.ipodsgiveaway.co.uk - An email was also sent out by the hacker claiming that we were closing our sites. Certain order information was also deleted. Please be assured that out sites are NOT closing! We have temporarily taken the two sites offline and redirected them to www.GiveawayNetwork.co.uk while we restore data and check the integrity of the sites. We estimate the sites will be back up and running Friday 20th January. We are sorry for any inconvenience and undue stress this may have caused, and are working hard to get things back up and running smoothly. | Re: 360giveaway email?!I just hope they can get it sorted. CashBag have a few of these guys’ adverts up & sadly that link that was attached was spotted & reported. Personally I think it's outrageous! If 2 of our members who use our forum spotted this email how many who don't spotted it. Obviously the concern was because on clicking a link it was just pure vulgar! I think the person who did this is out right sick! Not only have they been malicious but adding on such a site was *beeping* naughty! How many of us have kids or younger sisters/brothers? I know my 2 n half year old gets up with Woostar & sits on his knee watching the screen - Only takes 2 seconds to click a link & a page to load. Can’t imagine explaining that one myself – I’m sure there were few laptops flying! I hope they don’t loose any good name over some eejit who clearly thought that was amusing! |
