70 Miles... in 5hours!

Now this sounds like a very long time... But I did it on a bike!

I cycled from Bath to Reading on Saturday (68.5m)

I took 1hr30m breaks in total and 4.5-5hrs in the saddle!

Was well impressed!!

Yea, this is training for my 470mile ride from Edinburgh to London!

We average 70m a day so was impressed with that.

Also did it to go see my girlfriend and save on train costs, and had a job in Reading on the Sunday!

Doing Exeter to Bath next Sunday. (Got a job in Exter on Sat and staying with GFs and her grandparents for the weekend.)

(cyclings fun, but it sucks working 9-5 mon-fri and weekends!)

nah not to sore!

If your doing long distance do not use a bike with suspension. Take all your power out. Most of your pedle power gets softened by your suspension and therefore makes it harder!

Thanks though!

Anonymous donation of £300+!

Nice one!

Remind me on Friday when I get paid and I will make a donation (only small as I don't get paid much ) and that's a promise.

Hope all goes well.

Not bad that for over a few hours

I should be cycling to a meeting and back this weed (60 mile round trip) but my bike isnt behaving, and 3 hours of trying to fit new parts resulted in me finding out chainsets have changed their design slightly over the years....
