Trades - a few things

Thought I'd sticky the thread in here as hopefully it'll get more attention than in trades chat!

To request trade accesss
You need to click in the link in the first post of this thread http://www.exceem.co.uk/forums/excee...ades-area.html and a request will come through to us. Please be patient when sending through requests! PM'ing mods or sending visitor messages will not get you access any quicker.

Trade access - when to apply
Only apply for access after you have been here for 5 days and made at least 5 posts, anybody who applies before this will automatically be turned down. Also don't assume that you will definitely get access, as we do look at the posts you have made before considering it.

Once access has been given
Once you have access to the trade section you will be able to click on this link Trading - eXceem and see all trades, if you haven't got access a message will appear denying you access.

To create a trade/ reply to a trade once in the trading section
Go to the trade section and look for the network you are interested in. Once in there, you can either reply to an existing trade that someone has set up and once they agree, post the first part of your email address that you signed up with and your ref link for them to sign up under.

The other option is to create your own trade in a section so if you're looking for refs for gifts.fj go to the fj network and post a trade offering to sign up on other networks/sites in return for that, or post a green for cash ie you'll pay £10 to people that sign up.

if more than one person wants to sign up, open a new trade for the second person etc as it's easier to keep track of, and just call it something like trade with..... Don't agree to trade with anyone who wants to discuss things over msn or pm either, keep everything in the trade section. Occasionally people are scammed by someone, so it's easier to keep track of who agreed to what if it's in this section.

Trading support
If you think you have been scammed by someone, please post a thread in trade support which is at the very bottom of the forums list, and a mod will have a look. When you are posting here please include a link to the trade thread, and if not already on there, ref links, and the first part of the email address you signed up with - and again please be patient!

Compensation for trades gone wrong
Just something to point out after a comment made by someone today. While we will do our best to get action taken against the person who scammed you, whether it be by banning from exceem/trades section, getting your greens removed from their account or even getting a green added to your account as trade compensation this is done as a favour by the network concerned after we contact them and isn't a given right. It's also not on to contact them directly to try and get a green that way!
