Has anyone watched this film? I'm about to go to blockbuster now and i'm thinking of renting it, should i? I've heard it's got something like 8 oscer awards, but somebody told me it's not that good?

Whats everyones opinions on the film?

Loved it - Stayed up untill 3 watching it!

Its a feel good movie - and she is hot!

Slumdog - Amazing film, deserves all of its awards!

Knowing - The fim couldn't choose a bloody genre, on minute its a thriller, then its action then its romance then its horror! MAKE UP YOUR MIND! Still, nice VFX in it, such as the plane.

Slumdog is not quite the film you think it will be, yes it is uplifting at the end but it's pretty horrific before you get there!! It is definately worth renting though and i'm sure you will enjoy it.

yup agree with the sainbt, was disappointing after the good reviews it got, some gory bits, and kind of dragged on

its ok m8 but not worth the hype or the umptine oscers it got.
yes its good but there is better films in the shops or at the cinema now like my sisters keeper, transformers n now harry potter

Going to watch it maybe tomorrow night, i've had enough of films tonight, just watched Quantum Of Solace (James Bond) for the first time

i know it's been out for ages, i rented that too.

its no way as good as the james bond film before but still a great flik cant wait to see harry potter though

Yeah it's not as good as Casino Royal.

I would say the books are better than the films, but the films really are amazing

It is a good film but also one of the most over-hyped movies of all time!!
Its worth seeing because it lets you visit India for a couple of hours. I didnt know much about life in India until i watched it so its educational in that respect.

But i have to say the way the industry has gone on and on about it, you'd think it was life-changing or something which it isn't.
