![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I love stripping wallpaper (yes, I know very sad!). I don't use a steamer, I just use a wet cloth, soak the wallpaper and then wait 10 secs then it comes off pretty easily. Must have: wallpaper scraper Optional: Mambo Number 5 (you can recreate the scene from the Royle Family). |

| Super Moderator | Omg! I've been doing wallpaper stripping all morning (soo boring!) I used a wallpaper scraper and a wet Sponge soaked in soapy water then wait a minute like Alex said, then start scrapping but as soon as it looks like it's starting to get dry again, wet it. When it's dry it's harder

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | It's a piece of cake with a stripper! Tips: (1) Use the stripper on the whole strip, or at least half of it then pull firmly but gently from the top and the whole thing should (if you've soaked it enough) come down in one go. (2) Make sure you put a cloth or sheeting down because the goo will dry onto anything. (3) be careful of the steam, can get a nasty burn from it if you're not careful. Basically if you have a stripper it's really easy! |
