Closed trade or not?

I'm wondering if there might be a way of filtering out the threads so that live trade offers are easily differentiated from those that have been closed. I just took a squint at the trading forum and it is very confusing for me, let alone a new arrival to this site to know who is still seeking a trading partner. Maybe we could introduce an Offer Closed section and shunt all dead threads off there out the way.

Also, of course, there is an obligation on the original poster to keep the thread up to date if the offer is no longer open.

I agree, a great idea. We could have a section for trades that are underway as well, so people could post updates on their status and so on. Thanks, we'll look into it.

Not really, but I think since we now have separate sections for different types of trade it would only serve to make things more confusing. Ususally, if a trade is totally closed the thread is locked and will then end up disappearing into the later pages while other threads are posted in. I think that will do us for now!
