Mate just lost his licence

Lmao, unlucky! Was totally his own fault (Scott). One of the lads (Ben) at college came in today with his new car and at dinner time we decided to go to my house for something to eat, I went in Scott's car and Ben took his own, we were driving down a big straight road and Ben decided he wanted to open the taps on his new car and went for it, Scott decided to follow EVENTHOUGH I said "Don't do it!" 2 or 3 times (apparently he didn't hear) as I seen the cop car at the lights before he decided to do one.

Cop pulled next to him at the lights and told him to take the next left into a car rental place (Enterprise), by this time I was creased as I knew exactly what was coming....points!

At 1st I thought it would only be 3 points until I realised that "****...he was doing 95mph in a 40 zone!........hahahaha"

Yep, you guessed it, 6 points right there and then so that means an instant ban as he has only just started driving (6 points in your 1st year of driving = a instant ban), and he also has a court date for a fine, which im guessing he is also going to use to appeal against the 6 points. Lucky for him his mam is a solicitor and the cop car that pulled him was NOT a traffic cop so has no evidence....

I will update when he has been to court Lmao.

Call me evil for laughing so much, but 1) it's his own fault, and 2) I told him not to do it! 3) He is a ****ing crazy driver anyway.

****, I didn't realise I wrote that much!

Also forgot to mention he has only just started driving so thats why 6 points = instand ban

If you get 6 points in the 1st year of passing your test it = a instant ban (Just for the people who may not know, or drive)

With no visual evidence this wont stick, if he has any sense he should keep quiet and let the solicitor sort it out.

95mph in a 40mph zone? That's reckless, probably a good job there was a copper nearby.

The copper even said to him "So how long you been driving?"

"Just a few month" he replied

So the cop asked "So what gives you the right to think you can drive at 95mph with that lack of experience?"

"..........." silence...., lmao!

I seriously hope he loses his license for a very long time and has to pay a hefty fine. I really do hate people like this. I appreciate he is your friend, but what a ****.

I really hope his appeal isn't successful. The less speedfreaks on the road the better for everyone.

I don't understand why it is so hard to see that driving is the most dangerous thing that most people do every day - i mean, cars are like enormous chunks of metal that outweigh humans by probably 100-1, and are capable of going faster than a cheetah. They scare me and they should scare eveyone else but they dont because we're brought up around them and ride in them when we're young (kids dont have a sense of danger) so we end up getting used to them, but we should still see them for what they are and treat them with respect.

Tell ur friend that if he wants to drive fast he should become a racing driver and drive on circuits/private land, not public roads with families etc..

Thank God the police were there!

Maybe so and maybe this is just the shock he needs for when he finally gets his licence back, to tell him to slow the **** down.
