Terrible, she should let him take the consequences, teach him a lesson.

I'm sure his mother will be real proud of herself if her beloved son knocks someone down when he really should be banned and off the road.

She'd only represent him again and try to get him off.

Afterall, a mother would die for their sons, so standing up in court for him is nothing to her.

Not quite the same though is it? Yes, they'd be willing to die to protect their kids if they were in danger, but any good parent wouldn't just let their kid get away with something like this, they'd want them to be taught a lesson otherwise they wouldn't learn and would just do it again.

Letting a persons child recieve punishment isn't always good parenting, some parents have their own different ways of getting their point across. So i'm guessing his mum probably will let him off the hook now but if he committed it again then obviously she might just say "hey i helped you once, you've committed the same offence again so this time. Get your own lawyer." This will probably be the approach i'll use when i become a parent, as people we should learn from our own mistakes but you have to give a little leeway from time to time.

Why can't she do that the first time he does it, rather than risk him doing it again?

What a knob, i have only been driving 3 and a half weeks and i dont drive like that! I think the main reason is my car only does 75mph, lol.

But still think the worst i have done is 40mph in a 30mph zone!

Well taking from personal experiance, If hes doing 95 in a 40 zone,
1. He must have a pretty nice car, and chances are could of outrun the cop,
2. He must be VERY VERY VERY rich to pay the insurance on that in the first year of driving"

Not many cars can outrun the cops unless very rich, (Cop cars are heavily tuned to exceed normal speed limits). But to do 90 most cars above 1.2 can do this! Like i said mine only just does 75, but thats a 1 litre banger!

I remember when i was learning i accidently done 80mph and that was in a 1.2 and it wasnt struggling!

1. My car (1.4L xsara) and my previous car (1.1L saxo) were both capable of doing those speeds though I'd hardly say they were flying machines. As for outrunning the cops....most of these "road wars" kinda shows suggest to me that the cops wouldnt be chasing a nutter who drove that speed through residential streets because of public safety.

2. I'm sure he's had "help" in paying for all things car related and no doubt mummy will pay the legal bills ahead too.

Surly he'd be covered by the (can't remember the name, a persons entitlement to legal advice) the thing that means they ask you for a lawyer if you get arrested.

Your mother should stick up for you, blood thicker than water, and it will give the child trust and stuff for his family.
I'd like to say how dare he, buu I'm worst noww, I drive like on roads(I think thats worst) so yeahh, i can't say i won't be doing the samme, I'll just make sure no cops come past
