New iphone

apparently, as well as the new software there is going to be a new iphone in the summer aswell. Can anyone shed any light on this? cause i was gonna buy one at the end of the month! Don't wana get one only to have it crash in price!

It's been rumoured for a while and I guess the new OS will fuel the rumours. Plus the 3G came out last june/july, around a year after the first one so maybe there will be a new one in the summer.

At the moment obviously no one knows any details on the specs or design, but a lot of people are speculating it will have HD screen (though I think that would be a bit gimmicky).

Upshot is, no one knows for sure whether there will be one in the summer, and if there is what it will be like.

It might come with HD output, a HD display screen would just be silly imo. You won't be able to read anything at all on it.

i read somewhere that theres something about a new product no. in the new software beta. Cause theres the iphone 1 and 2, and the touch two versions, then one thats supposed to follow the 2 iphone's

just thought there wasn't a whole lot of diff with the 2nd iphone, was only really 3g that mattered. So may aswell get it now right?

I'm waiting until June before I think about upgrading. For the sake of a couple of months why not wait.

its definitely fake you can tell because apple would never let a advert leak and its mostly patents/store release schedules that leak the information early. Its also obvious that its all rendered rather than showing the actual product and it seems like quite a poor job. Also why would they change the OS again when they've only just announced the 3.0 software which doesn't look anything like this?

I think that they will release a new iPhone this june/july however we wont see real proof for quite a while. If you really are interested in finding out the latest details on it just have a check on macrumours every now and again or engadget for general technology. Otherwise just wait and see June isn't that far off.

heres a link off to engadget it seems like new iphones/ipod touches will come out this year but thats fairly obvious.
