New Tattoo

Went for a new tattoo today, had a 3 hour sitting, and still got 2 hours to go.

If you wanna see the tat so far go to

TwitPic / grabrail

I'm so sore tonight, but no where near as painful as when I was sat in the chair. If I could make one recomendation to anyone considering a tattoo, dont have the inside if your elbow done.

I felt like my skin had been peeled back and someone was washing me with salt and vinegar then rinsing down with lemon.

You think thats sore? My friend thought he was a hard geezer and I know a tatooist so he said to my mate he would do a 50p on the palm of his hand for free.

Lmao, last time he will ever think he's a hard geezer.

For those that don't know, your palm of your hand is the most sensitive part of your body so he literally felt EVERYTHING, he was screaming.

On a happier note, that tatoo is good and i'm not usually a one for tatoo's

Cheers, it was all done freehand as well, it is a unique design created as we went along.

Apparently the cornea is the most sensitive part of your body, but I couldn't imagine having my eyes tattooed lol

Tattoos are painful whereever you have them, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. There are just different levels of pain.

But like Claire says its definately worth it. It is all part of the process.

I don't think they're worth it, they're painful and look hideous on most people, especially women. I just don't understand how they can be worth it

Its a personal thing. I've been hooked since my first one.

I think tattoing stems from a tribal instinct thats in us all.

I understand its not for everyone

And beauty is in the eye of the beholder

my sister in law has about 15 large tattoos!

(Jade - it's Angela on my Facebook profile if you want a look!)

We have a really good one locally - but they are so expensive and I couldnt get away with a visible one in my job.
