seen as lately exceem has had a mini obituary pages

i though i should all tell you that my ipod nano thats a week old passed away this morning

i was listening to now vol 62 on it and the screen just died

i bought a skin for the ipod nano and treated it like my third child

when i recieve a replacement i will be selling it a.s.a.p

there nice mp3 players but even when you wrap them in cotton wool
the still break

ipod messed up big time.

Chris told apple about his and they sent him a box for him to send it back in and if they could not fix it they would send him a new nano.
Please add Chris if i missed something out

but the battery indicator wasnt that low?

lol you often have to cycle these things 4 or 5 times before the battery indicator is accurate.

I think it froze itself til a better Now album came out, but trev stuck it in the microwave for fun and defrosted it...

I guess I'm lucky because I only have a portable radio cassette so there's probably not as much to go wrong with mine.

I think I've only ever had about 2 or 3 tapes that got chewed up.

I suppose that that is one of the advantages of MP3 players, although Hard disk mp3 players still have a hard disk that can get damaged.

ipod nano's are flash based memory so there is no moving parts at all

battery life is great and only takes 20 mins to full charged for a good 12 hours playback

apple say 18 hours

i say bull

The origional ipods are HD based though.

20 minutes is good to get 12 hours charge. I wish the batteries for my camera would charge that fast, then again, the ipod probably uses less electricity.
