![]() ![]() | R.I.P N82- Need a replacementOk guys heres the story. I bought my nokia n82 in may off of ebay. Was brand new and only paid £220 for it. I had 5 months of pure bliss with it before it got broken on a night out at Guanabara in London, where I was accompanied by a fellow exceemer (Ravness). Anyways I was getting my freak on and thought I should take some pics for facebook. Out came the phone and within a minute I had dropped it on the dancefloor. The lcd was cracked but I was pretty wasted so I didn't notice. I then stumbled home, forgetting that I had broken my phone. Anyway I woke up the next day realising what had happened and was distraught. I took the phone into my local Nokia repair point (CPW-Bluewater) and said something along the lines of 'I took it out of my pocket and the phone doesn't seem to turn on', presuming the stupid card would get me a free repair. Sadly no less than 3 hours later the guy from CPW said 'It's a cracked lcd mate, the engineer said he can't do it under warranty'. I was in the pub at the time and so started ranting down the phone about how I felt it was down to poor build quality (sticking to the 'I just took it out my pocket story'). Anyway he said I should send the phone to nokia as they weren't able to fix it under warranty. I went to CPW the next day and get this...they accidently fixed my phone. They then tried to charge me £45 but I refused and they just gave me the phone back without charge. I think it was just to get rid of me. Well everything was going ok but recently the microphone started to cut out during calls and it was driving me mad, so i've sent the phone off to nokia basically because I can't go back to CPW after the havoc I caused. I've decided to sell the phone when it comes back from Nokia. It'll kill me to do it but I know it's for the best. Ok now i've given you the life story of my phone I need a favour. Basically I need some recommendations of a new phone. This is what I want on it: Camera-5MP+ ideally with xenon flash GPS Decent size screen-240*320 HSDPA Wifi Expandable memory The following would be nice but not essential: Accellerometer Integrated 3d chip Price is not too important, nor is form factor Anyone got a phone in mind? |

| MJ lady with maracas | HTC – Touch Phone, PDA Phone, Smartphone, Mobile Computer: Products – HTC Touch HD: Overview (though I do have a huge bias to windows mobile phones, they do work well) don't think it has a flash though

![]() ![]() | Problem is it's pretty bulky that's why I bought the N82 over the n95. If i'm right it think it too has the same 5MP camera as the n82, except the n82 has xenon flash. Also the gaming on the n82 is IMO much better down to it's dedicated graphics chip. I had iplayer on my n82 anyway, was pretty cool. Don't really think the N96 is all that it's cracked up to be tbh. |
