Unhappy

Boo hoo

I ordered a childrens play kitchen for my little girls last week from Vertbaudet - originally I was going to get FJ to order it for 3 greens on consoles but they couldn't as it had to be delivered to the invoice address, so requested a bank transfer.

Anyway I ordered it, got email etc saying they had rec'vd order. Called today to see where it was and they said they couldn't authorise the card and they are now out of stock

Have to find another one now - but it was such a good deal and I had a 50% off code, I will have to get some more greenage to cover it.

Anyway, just wanted to have a moan and share my pain with you all Thanks for reading!

Now I had best do some work.

That is awful, I got a Bank Transfer for £204 to pay for driving lessons. I had asked FJ to order me gift vouchers from BSM but they had to be delivered to the invoice address.

I ended up spending the money paying other things and now still haven't had my driving lessons yet.

Just to make 100% clear - it wasn't FJ's fault - more than happy with the service there!!

Its that Vertbaudets fault for not telling me they couldn't process the card

I understand that. Nobody would blame FJ for this. It is down to them that we can all get these fantastic gifts anyway

vertbaudet are a bit useless tbh - i ordered a load of stuff with some codes on the 28th september its been coming in dribs and drabs ever since and they charge you each time ie a tshirt so they take out £1 then they ship trousers take out another £1 drives me mad - im still waiting on one outfit that is aged 12 months my son will be grown out of it by the time it arrives me thinks.

yeah, they have some stuff, but not as nice. Wanted a nice wooden one, but with the codes it was A LOT cheaper on Vertbaudet. Will probs trek over to Early Learning Centre @ weekend, see if they have anything there.

Have u seen the Djeco ones; they have lovely wooden ones at around £40:

They also do a yellow one but can't find it atm.

edit: they also do party tea sets, bakery sets, (all nice wooden toys) so you could add on to it at birthdays, etc

Wow, thats really nice. How tall is that? I have seen some comments on amazon on other kitchens saying that they were smaller than expected.

Just googled Djeco - they do some LOVELY toys. I wish I was loaded

Found the yellow one Daisy's Cooker; bigger so around £60

I prefer the pink one though; not sure about size. I'm planning on getting it for my daughter but not in a rush as she's not even properly walking yet...

Found a review on the cooker - doesn't sound like it woudl be suitable after all as it is too small for a 3yr old. The review said that their 1 year old loved it tho and was a good size - might be good for your lil one

Will keep looking! Shame as I really like the design. Going to get some other stuff from the site though, the pizza looks great
