What's next? I cant think of anything apart from radio, more games or even a live iTunes on your iPod so you can download on the go too.

i think they messed up the phone with itunes , so apple will try it their way and make an ipod with a keypad similar to the razr, all touchy rather than buttons

the ipod photo was a stupid idea. the ipod video is even more retarded. an ipod with a radio would be an ACTUALLY GOOD idea... so if you're reading, Mr Jobs...

I'm sure a wifiPod (omg im coining that phrase, trademark!!!) is on the cards for downloading in hot spots.

Now that is a a lame joke Lol. Anyway does MFI still exist!? Lol. I remember being dragged round there over and over again when I was younger.

Anyways I think a iPod Mobile is a useless idea. I think the mobile they brought out with Motorola is totally crap! I mean MOTOROLA! Why not go with Samsung or someone with decent mobile shapes. The brick shape thing Motorola and Apple brought out is terrible. I wouldnt even consider buying it. I have to carry my iPod around as it is without having that brick with me as well.

I think there be one that has bluetooth so you can send songs to other bluetooth ipods and ir so it can control the tv.

I doubt it.......Bluetooth has terrible speeds. The only other option is to have wifi.......which will be quite difficult atm considering the bulk and battery consumption. The Bluetooth, if for anything, will be for headphones.

I've discussed with other people the idea of wifi ipods, and I think it would really have merit, the idea would be that while in range of another ipod you could share music and the DRM could say yet you listen to it for up to 12 hours afterwards or something, then it just becomes dormant, when you go to dock your ipod, itune would say "you have these domant tracks do you want to buy them?" and if not it would just delete them.

this would then mean you could go to "ipod parties" where everyone shared their music. there would ofcourse also have to be a privacy option (private folder and or disable sharing).

Youd also have the benefit of being able to dock your ipod to your wifi pc without physically connecting it.

iPod with radio would be good although there are plenty of mp3 players with radios and you can buy one for £1 anyway, an ipod with DAB would be cool tho.

The next generation however will probably just sport an OLED screen and thus have better picture and battery life, although I would expect to see some form of gaming type ipod, its another good revenue stream for itunes.

MFI does still exist but that generation has gotten rid of their kids and can now afford better furniture, and this generation goes to ikea.

I dunno......but I wouldn't buy them. If they are too small, you'll lose them and if their too large, it'll just look stupid.

These Bluetooth rumours started because Apple recently signed a contract with a electronic chips company based in Cambridge. They specialise in Bluetooth or something - and accidently blurted out the deal in an interview (Apple usually like to keep these things a secret).

PDA Pod. Ipod will probably end up running on an intel Xscale anyway, so it might as well be a miniture PC. With a touch screen. Half of it can display the click wheel in ipod mode....
