Personally what I do with my name is replace i with 1. For example my osn name is S1M1BEAN

So you could have BEN1ZJAM1N which looks pretty ace

83N1ZJAM1N or B3N1ZJAM1N

but seriously about XBL names, its fine to have anything, as long as its not xxxxxN4m3pwn4ag3xxxxxx

its quite good if you take the second part of your 1st name and put it together with the 2nd part of your 2nd name

makes me laugh everytime
"Yay Chris wants to play"
another one of my mates has "Old Granny" so sometimes its "Old Granny wants to play"
which is quite disturbing
