My New Aquarium

Hi! ^_^

It was my 21st birthday on the 28th of July and my boyfriend bought me an AZOO Day & Night aquarium because I've been wanting to get a fighting fish for ages. It finally arrived today and I've just set it up.

Here's a picture of what the aquarium looks like.. (I got the darker one)


And here's a picture of it currently.. (the symbol in the gravel means 'earth' - it's a Stargate thing - I'm a little obsessed)


There aren't any ornaments in there (though I have ordered one) or plants (still haven't decided between plastic or real) but as the tanks still cycling that can wait for a while.

I am also planning to make an ornament like this one too..

I'll be getting fish shortly (a fighting fish, some guppies, some sky blue tetras and a retarded looking molly to amuse my boyfriend) and I'll be sure to post pictures of them once they've settled into their new home!

My mate has a huge tropical fish tank in his house, get some coral if you can! (I have no clue about fish AT ALL so don't know if yours will be tropical or if they will get along with coral, but it looks pretty funky lit up and swaying etc).

Nice gift. I used to have a fighting fish many years ago (a blue one). They are such beautiful fish to look at.
