The votes have all been counted and verified, and I am sure you will agree, that everyone who entered this competition and have all put in some really amazing effort and creativity into their work.

But as in most things there can only be one winner, so please take the time to watch all of the videos again before making your final decision.

This poll will run for 7 days, and I will check the votes daily so baring any neck and neck voting, the winner should be clear once the poll closes.

Hey there, seems it uploaded fine after all and has even had a few views too!
Just a few notes on my entry first though...

It's an animation i had to do on my mate's computer in any spare time he had so i ended up having to rush out a few bits, it was basically going to have added sound effects, motion effects to make it look like they're walking and their eyes were going to move around rather than jump around.

The version that's here now is the final version in terms of voting for the competition but I'm still gonna make improvements anyway for the sake of any Exceem members (including me!) that may want to use this video anyway for their own ends regardless of whether it wins anything.

If you do wish to use this video on your websites etc then please wait a bit for the final final version to be finished, i'll then post a message in the extra bar or website design review pages with relevant links to the finished piece.

The music is copyrighted but it's being used as 'placeholder' music just for this competition, a friend of mine is currently making a 'copycat' piece ever so slightly different but with the same timings and mood etc to avoid any legality issues. (The challenge is returned to Eonbar to name that track too!)

Last but definately not least you may notice I have not mentioned Exceem in this video - This was done for several reasons:
1. I took the rules of the competition very literally about including "other website addresses" etc and
2. I wanted the advertisement to be as tight and to the point about FreebieJeebies as possible.

This is staying this way purely for the time being for the competition but i will be adding an Exceem mention when i make the final version to be added to user's websites as mentioned above.

Also the MP4's have slightly bigger file sizes (largest file is only 10mb anyway though!),
does anyone know if that means better quality than the h.264 or is the h.264 just a really good compressor? Cheers!

(The weird thing is the 4x3 h.264 is almost double the filesize of the 16x9 h.264, but the mp4s are about the same filesize as each other. go figure?

Okay boys and girls.
I've had this idea floating around my head, about how ignorance gets you nowhere. i was unsure about how to market it, becuase i didn't want to offend people becuase Ignorance is quite a strong term.

i guess the reason why im trying to state that "Ignorance gets you nowhere" is becuase people think they are correct, when they have no basis or research behind their thoughts, and to me this is a huge huge huge folly of being human. Ignorance is not a pretty thing, and god its annoying....

stretching it to its uppermost extent, its kinda like people being homophobic, or racist or sexist. people who think all gay people are camp, or all Muslims are terrorists..... i know im really pushing it, but ignorance of these things really gets me ...

so i decided to do a lil ol video about it. Its not so much a walk through/guide/history of the whole freebieness, but more of an ADVERT. It didnt turn out exactly as i wanted. first of i wanted someone elses help to formulate my ideas. my brother is great at editing and he is a great camera-man .... but alas i kept on putting it off, and putting it off to make this vid, so i kinda rushed it today on my own. about 3 hours to shot, edit and upload ...

im rambling.

put contrast to 100% to give it that aged look which fits the music quite well i think (Down in Mexico - the coasters)

The idea is that theres this guy following his IGNORANCE, and he ends up at the same place he started of. rewatching this just now ... god it could have been done so much better ... i dnt think theres a sense of movement?? needed some shots of the car driving/FOLLOWING the signs ... ah well ... a camera man would have been nice :P heh

What exactly was wrong with the voice over. I mean I didn't think it was great but considering it was my first I didn't think it was 'horrid '.

All great entries, but I again voted for MacAttack's video. Same reasons as before, funny, colourful, gets across the whole "no-one believes the freebie scene at first" idea, and overall very polished and professional looking imo.

But pointing that out using the word 'horrid' (which you didn't actually do, just agreed with) makes it sound like it is something disgusting and not just a particular accent you (and Fezio) don't like.

I would have voted for 0707, but I didn't like the voice over that much (the way the static comes in and out, not the accent), I know this is probably a problem of the mic and not yours, but sorry, just steered me away a little but. But I loved the music for your video! It was awesomely coolbeans!

Eonbar - That video is quite good, you definitely put some effort into it! But it didn't really get the point across quick enough for me Sorry mate.

So, that leaves me with MacAttack, it's just a brilliant concept, a lot of time put into it and it's quite cute too! Well done mate

lol, i used the word "horrid" in relation to all the white noise in the background. I have nothing against your accent, i personally felt you could have spoken clearer and cut out all that noise using a simple prog, maybe audacity, just to sharpen it up a little.

Again, it was nothing to do with your accent.

If you got upset because you felt i "knocked" you then again i'm sorry. Didnt mean to, although i can't see why you would take a "cyber space" comment that seriously lol. Who cares what people say? Who am i? ... no one major

Since the previous comment had mentioned my accent and bmh16 also in his apology mentioned my accent I thought that's what you meant as well.

The white noise doesn't sound so bad when I watch the HQ version on my PC. But it is worse on YouTube, especially with a high volume. I would have liked to fix the sound and remove the noise but I have no clue how to and I just didn't have time to learn.
