While I dont think this deserves front page news status, I did think it deserves its own thread

eXceem how has a new privacy policy

While you all know eXceem respects members privacy, it does make things more organised if its kept in a separate statement

In short

• eXceem does not send you spam
• the only emails sent by exceem forums are new user registrations (to confirm your email address), thread subscriptions, notification of new events (such as new posts in a thread, forum, new private messages, as well as a range of other forum events). All of these are controlled by you in the options in the http://www.exceem.co.uk/forums/usercp.php
• eXceem does not add you to any mailing lists, or sell your data to anyone else
• eXceem does not send out mass email's - the exception to this is if there ever was a security issue surrounding eXceem, or other similar event.
• if we have to report a member for trade scamming or spamming, we simply pass on the referral link to the network concerned - we dont pass on any email addresses etc

eXceem currently does not have any form of newsletter, if it was to do so, it would be on a opt in via a webform basis.

well it was that or pay £400 for a custom written one, when a free template with a few modifications covers the basics needed for eXceem
