I'm in Love - with my computer

After many years of being annoyed/pi88ed off/frustrated with Windows of various flavours, I've finally taken the plunge and properly tried a Linux system - Ubuntu.

I'd tried it in the past using Suse Linux, but found it too difficult to setup or get to grips with. However after 20mins! (only 20?!?!) of waiting for Ubuntu to install I'm officially converted - well not quite as it's still installed under windows. But I'll be reformatting my hard drive this weekend.

The last point I had to check before I converted was what would happen with Itunes and my Ipod Touch. However there are free programs that seem to be much better than Itunes that I can use - and they have support for Wireless snycing of my Ipod!

To anyone else that thinks Windows is great, give the latest version of Ubuntu a try. It's free, you can do most things on it that you can in Windows, and you can also install it from windows so if you don't like it you can remove it using add/remove programs Ubuntu Home Page | Ubuntu
