Mario Kart for the Wii

Just bought Mario Kart and what a saga!!

Went in to toys are us and noticed they were offering Mario Kart with a free second wheel for 34.99. Cool I thought. I had some vouchers for Toys R Us at home so went and got them.

When I got back to the store, the shelf was empty

So we asked the staff guy that was htere if they had any more in stock, and his answer was " I dunno mate, waiting for all the dummy cases to come back before we can say, wait 10 minutes and you should know"

So we did, and still none on the shelf. After about 20 minutes we thought sod it we'll go home. On the way out we asked at the desk if they had any, they said theyve got 6 left and the cases should be on the shelf soon.

Went back and waited a further 20 minutes. then a member of staff came out with the remaining boxes and personally handed one to me and a guy that had also been waiting for ages.

Got to the counter only to be told thye had run out of the second wheel, so they had to take details to let us know when its in stock.

But so happy to get it, after all that

Re: Mario Kart for the Wii

The wheel is just a wheel shape that you plug your standard controller into, works pretty good tho

Yes, but an official product. I think the ones on Ebay look a bit lightweight compared to the Wii Wheel.

I wasn't impressed, found it VERY difficult to control with the Wii Wheel and went straight to NUnchuck and remote - much better! Great game!

Re: Mario Kart for the Wii

I was lucky, went to game yasterday and they were saying if we'd been half an hour later they'd all have been gone. Massive que but totally worth it. Also convinced my sister to buy it so didn't have to pay I actually think i prefer the cheap one that I got from game to the official one. Maybe just cause it's the one I used 1st. Anyone been playing online much? It's awesome

Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party Wii?
I prefer the Official Wii wheel as i check some review about the ebay ones, seem like some of it are unconfortable or the way it looks. I only saw several which were 6.99 and got two on woolworth 10
