Phishing

I was thinking to start up a new site, nothing to do with freebies, to help protect internet users against phishing scams.

My idea was to set up a site with the basics of phishing and how to avoid it. The main part of the site would be a section where there are actual phishing emails which people can look through. The point being if a person receives a dodgy email they can check if it has already been uploaded to the site to see if it is really a phishing scam.
The examples would be obtained by web users forwarding their phishing emails to the sites email address so it can then be displayed on the site.

If all goes to plan and the site is running well, maybe it can expand on to showing actual phishing web pages which people should avoid.

The only problem is I only know the basics of designing and coding, this is one of the reasons I am posting here. If anyone with knowledge of online coding and design is interested I would be more than welcome to let them in on the project.
My other reason being, do you guys think this would be a good idea???

I personally think it would be a good idea. And like you I have minimal design / coding skills.

My advice to start up would be to use blog software like wordpress. This is what I use, it is free and there are loads of free templates and widgets etc available for download.

Yeah I was thinking as starting it up as a blog then slowly developing it into a separate individual site when my knowledge increases.

sounds like a good idea.

i don't know about website design either but i found a really handy website the other day. it's called ScriptLance.com Custom Freelance Programming. Outsource web projects to programmers and designers..
basically you set up an advert, what you want done and designers will quote. prices seem very reasonable.

I do reckon you should make it a subscrption site and ask for bank details
