| Call me Ben .... | Re: Starting your own Freebie Network?Ad, i wouldn't recommend you make a new site unless you belive you can match R-I, FJ etc. on their awesome designs and the amazing support ticket replies forfree4u and FJ give (1 minute lol). If you feel you are good enough for this well good luck to you, but it is very time consuming and you need a lot of money behind you. For example, many freebie sites either go bust, with honest guys handing out money owed (yepitsfree springs to mind) and losing money in the end from their business, or otherwise not honest guys keeping money owed when they realise their business is going nowhere. I wouldn't recommend it as i said, there are better business schemes out there now as the freebie market seems flooded atm with so many good networks to choose from. I also think you need to post in a more mature manner like any business would even on exceem, but that's just my personal opinion. Ben |

![]() | Re: Starting your own Freebie Network? To be honest, I don't see what's so bad about asking about the level of work and coding involved. He's not asking for someone to do it for him and he certainly didn't deserve the flame fest DT gave him. Seemed more like a personal gripe with DT. As long as he doesn't launch the site while still doing the coding, there's no harm done. If you can't ask experienced or even knowledgeable programmers for their opinion on the level of difficulty and work involved, who can you ask? It's better to ask than make mistakes that were avoidable. As the saying goes, it shows wisdom to admit ones ignorance.
