Anyone travel Manchester to London at all?

I was just on the Virgin trains website and they are trialing a print at home service for their Manchester to London route.

its possible to pick up a ticket on there for as little as £3!!! the most they are on there is £9 and that is still incredible!

usually if you have to travel at short notice it can cost a bomb to get a ticket (i know, i've done it!) but i was browsing just now and you can get a ticket for thursday evening for £3, thats tomorrow evening! wow!

just thought i would pass on the joy that i am now feeling.....i can afford to go home!!!!!

the direct site is:-

http://www.mobitix.thetrainline.com/...ePurchase.aspx

sorry this isnt relevent to everyone, but hey ho, you may find yourself with a reaosn to pop up to Manchester, or down to London!!
