Ebay: how do you add a reserve?

It should be near the bit where you specify the starting price, just to the right of that bit i think if my memory serves correctly.

I found it when I clicked Revise the item but I swear it wasn't there the first time..

Or you could save the reserve fee by starting the auction at a price near to what you hope to sell for?

Yeah thats what I do. I don't really see the point in putting a reserve on things.

Why sell it when petrol and matches will do the trick

If you search for PSPs on eBay under "completed listings", you will get a good idea of the sort of prices they are going for.

i think the detox is right, start at 99p with no reserve - a PSP will get lots of bids at that price and go for much more than that if you put a picture and sell it well, no worries.

Also make sure you list it so it ends on a monday or tuesday afternoon (around 3-5PM) as these times are peak viewing times for Ebay.

You could put it on for 7 days but hardly anyone will view for at least the first 4 or 5days. Consider a 3 day auction.

Also, i wouldn't list it to end on a Bank Holiday as i reckon it will be sunny and most people will be out.

As for the liverpool shirt, burning is too good for it - when you run out of toilet paper you know what to use!

or try Sunday nights for ending, lol i bet the only reason your selling today is cuz its half price listing day, I'm selling my PS3 as i dint play it, i played once that was the day i got it from giveaway, so selling it hopefully get at least £300 to cover my new PC I'm getting, which i WILL use more..

I try to end most of my listings around 7.30pm on a Sunday.

It takes a bit of patience but if you are in no hurry, list for the full 10 days. I've found that although you don't get bids until the final day, people start to get added as watchers and it boosts the final price.

The longer someone watches for, the more likely they are just to want to win the sale...and hopefully lose sight of the fact they are bidding too much !
