HDTV - Purchasing Soon

So, ive decided to buy a HDTV in the next few weeks, and was wondering if someone knew something about them, and could look over the choices i have narrowed them down to.

Samsung 23" LE23R71BX HD Ready Widescreen LCD TV (Black)

LG 23LC1RB 23" HD LCD Widescreen TV 720p 700:1 CR 500 cd/m2 16ms HDMI Black

MIRAI DLT 522P201 22 INCH LCD TV

Philips 23PF4321 - 23" Widescreen HD Ready LCD TV

Obviously i want to spend as little money as possible, but still get the best deal. I'm not looking to buy anything bigger than 24" (size of my current CRT tv), and nothing smaller than 20".

If anyone has anything to say about the above TV's, or can recommend me any others, id be grateful!

Thanks

Mike

Re: HDTV - Purchasing Soon

I bought the Samsung 23" LE23R71BX last month, cost me £385 inc Delivery. Its a fantastic TV, got it for the greater contrast ratio, etc. and I know a few people who have the Samsung TV's so I knew they were good quality.

The Samsung has hidden speakers which were perfect for me - not got a lot of space.

Also, I wouldnt go for the MIRAI - its a monitor converted to a TV ,it will be rubbish: 1680 x 1050 resolution may be higher than 720p HD video but the picture will be stretched to fit the extra pixels so it will look awful (IMO)

I'm in the same boat. The LG looks the best Price/Size wise, I wouldn't trust the Mikai, as its not a well known brand etc. I will search for reviews of the others and post soon!

The samsung is well worth it. My boyfriend has the 26 inch I think it is, and it's very good value for money, got a great picture, and has so many ports at the back for all your games consoles, rather than having to take one out and put another in when you want to switch.

Its no wonder poor stigma isnt online that often when her b/f has 26 inches. Now, thats what I call a real incentive, lol

I'd go for the LE23R71BX, I have it in my bedroom (pic below) and it's just fantastic! Built in speakers, and all round great quality! I did a lot of research on these before I got mine, and this was definitely the best!

Go for the Samsung mate, best quality LCD panels that you can buy in that range. And as Stigma said, the connections on the back are in abundance.

Articfox had me laughing for a good 5 minutes with that xD
