For all the designers out there..........

Ok I need quick and serious help, basically I need to design a A4 pallet size or poster for my university project and I was wondering what type of software could I use to design this poster

which of the following would be best

photoshop cs2 or anyother version
mx fireworks (don't know why i have mentioned this lol)

thats the only 2 I can think of

dreamweaver is for webpage design if I am correct

So I want to start from a blank page and create this A4 pallet
adding in designs, logos, text, etc

Re: For all the designers out there..........

use the A4 template they give you in the New Document window.

if you want it as a high quality printable, it will automatically set to 300dpi, which is about 3000x4000 pixels (roughly)
if you cant design on such a large scale drop the DPI in the 'Image>Image Size:" window, until you reach a size you are comfortable with, although i would recommend to go lower than 72 dpi.
