  | Member of the year etc.I thought i read that what would actually win 'Member of the Year' and all those prizes be for how helpful a member is, and not a popularity contest. However it does seem like it has gone down the popularity route, and people are making so many pointless posts, saying 'vote for me bla bla bla'. I regret voting for the person i voted for in one poll, and i have 2 clear canditates in mind who should be in the final. I will say them now to make you aware: Claire80 and Bazza. Both are helpful, and nice members of this forum, and have been around for a while. And it shows. Both of them have a high number of thanked posts. Final point is that some people who are top/near to top of these polls are also only there after becoming much more active in the last 2 months. Now i have nothing against this, but i thought it was member of the year?  Guess in the end of the day its your choice who you vote for, but there we go. Rant over, and i hope i haven't come across as too serious, just i'm not in too gooder mood as it is atm.  Also wasn't sure where to post this so ended up posting here lol! Ben

This makes the award useless as whoever wins it won't take it seriously For example, how come h2w has twice as many votes as anyone else? I personally don't find him nearly as annoying as some others on that list (myself not included) and can't believe that other people do either

| Re: Member of the year etc. I never expect to win member of the year, but ive got 4 votes which is amazing (maybe one of them is you biker, if so sorry your regretting your vote).As for me being in the wooden spoon i find that quite amusing, wonder if its a secret "who should be ban" contest :o... If so uh-oh not again!!  |

But it's just a bit of fun, its the only time we can really post "vote for me because im.. whatever" - I know its not meant to be a popularity contest but lets all just smile and if anyone that has been nominated gets a vote - well done on them  Stigma |
