People that have received gifts, do you get spam in the post?

Hey guys,

I hear that when signing up to these companies like free pay and all other rivals, you need to give out credit card details. As you know with credit card details you need to give both your home and billing address. Well some people have told me that your information is sold to third parties, not credit card details but home address, and telephone number. What these companies do with your information is they make telemarketing calls, banks call you asking if you would like to take out a mortgage or credit card companies ask if you want to sign up for a credit card with them. Then you get loads of spam letters sent to your house.

People say this is the one drawback to getting free gifts from these companies.

I wonder if any of you guys that have got one or are constantly receiving free gifts, do you get this kind of spam letters and telemarketing calls constantly or just the same amount as you would receive before you got into this world of getting free gifts?

I have received zero amount of spam from companies or from my details being passed onto over companies, all I have ever received is newsletters from the freegift site (which I ticked the option in the profile to receive them)

The only sites that take your credit card details are the offers, and they take credit card details from anyone who's paying for the offers service, which applys to everyone using the service, freegift site customers or not!

Been doing this for about a year now and have joined loads of sites (check sig) and I have never received any spam as a result.
