Ebay account bannings.

well, iv had 3 accounts now on ebay, of which all three have been banned, support is useless! it really is, i mean for a company that doesnt have a phone line you'd expect a higher quality email support, lol not the case, AUTOMATED responces. i hate it, its like freepay all over again, but atleast some one kinda reads ur email and you get a rough answer that has some relivence with what you want to know, but not with ebay, im really really angry at them. iv been banned from it since august. And i think only now have ebay even looked into in to it.

Basically ebays great in one sence when dealing with others but when i comes to dealing with ebay themselves, you treated like a sack of crap.

yeah but they always try to get you to send an email to the trust and saftey center, which has been tried a million times. and dont work.

I had quite a good idea to try and get my account reinstated, but it probably won't work lol. Basically, I've been using the new Turbo Lister BETA and it is really shocking how buggy it is, I thought I might tell them that because it's so buggy my items and listings have been playing up and I have not been able to edit them properly, worth a try I thought.

I'm getting really annoyed now. I've had my account restricted about 10 times in the last 2 weeks. The 3rd party stuff so just a matter of changing passwords and replying to the email. But every time I list a new item, my account is restricted again. The listings are different everytime, it's like I am not allowed to list any type of 360/ipod on a preapproved listing???

Have we all been black listed on ebay and any kind of 360/ipod/psp etc being listed is an instant remove and restriction of account?

You just have to lay off the listing for a while. Couple of months ago I couldn't get a listing up without a ban. Now listing one ad at a time in all the usual places and havn't been touched for a while. Touch wood.

I don't mind too much. Takes 20 mins to get them to unrestrict me. And you can get away with 20 greens or so per time so it's worth it.

I wasn't banned, just restricted from selling and using the message part of ebay. But yeah, they lifted the restriction straight away.

i havent been banned as such, iv been suspended, im guessin when ur banned you may as well forget ebay lol but suspended is more temp?

Well it says suspended all over my notice but it appears pretty permanent to me. Anyway I finished writing my email to eBay and would be grateful for your feedback on the letter.

Dear eBay,

I am writing to inquire about the suspension of my previous account, -----. I have emailed once before but only got an automated reply. I received notification of my accounts suspension yesterday but within the notice there was no outlined reason for my account being suspended. It would be very helpful if you would explicate the reasoning behind my account being suspended. I am aware that I have had previous policy breaches, but since have tried thoroughly to stick to eBay's selling policies.

I believe that some of my listings may have had errors due to your new BETA version of Turbo Lister which the program downloaded itself, without me knowing it was BETA. Although I find Turbo Lister and invaluable resource, unfortunately I have been experiencing many severe problems with the new BETA version. These problems include listings importing improperly, category selection not working properly and many more.

Although I understand how important it is to get users feedback on a new product I feel uncomfortable that testing such programs can result in suspension of my account

I would be very grateful if you could reply to this email as soon as possible, and look forward to hearing from you.
