So basically i think we should do something similer(*cough*exactly the same*cough*), call it the eXceem aWards! I think last year we voted for member of the year or something, but we need to do more i think. Then we can vote for things like:

network of the year
member of the year
best support
best freebie
spammer of the year (wooo vote me)
best freebie getter (hmmm miles or zara?? )
exceem staff member of the year
worst network of the year (freepay! )
event organiser of the year (*whistles*)

..etc etc..

then we can get some networks to sponser it...and hey presto exceem is buzzing more than ever. I know im a genius, 100% original idea

Yea got the email too. Sounds great. But I don't think we could have a network sponsoring an awards lol. Have people shouting fix! Also there isnt really anything to sponsor, as its a title on exceem the winners get.

I think networks can sponser it, im pretty sure we did member of the year once or something and someone got a ipod...

Just to clarify - ours wasn't just member of the year! We also had loads of categories, network of the year, best site design etc. I reckon a4f nicked it off us!

Oh yea I never thought about the awards for exceem members, maybe their could be something as a prize.

to add, wonder why they are emailing all of their members to tell them about this? surly if the site was that popular there would be no need to email everyone about it (unless to many people are joining and not bothering to post, or got bored with it)

the eXceem awards 2006 will be appearing soon, once ive worked out how they will run, and hopefully I should be able to sort a prize without any sponsorship, so it will be 100% un-biased

Yeah, I remember them. Didn't you win something Amanda? Also didn't 'site of the year' go to a site that turned out to be a scam?!?

Freepay lol, i know they aint been the best recently but most of us have ended up getting their gifts out of them. and atleast there still ploddin along and getting back on their feet.

I really like freepay tbh, it has provided me with 4 of my freebies and tbh i think the wait was worth it for the camera (got the new model). Also it seems easy to get referals, but having said that going by this year they have been very very very slow so they should defo be nominated!
