New rule in KUDOS T&Cs...

Hi all,

Following recent events I have added a new rule to all KUDOS sites, effective immediately.

Any user found discussing anything related to VCC fraud, buying referrals or anything similar on TheBotNet forum (or similar forum) will be permanently banned.

There will be no exceptions to this rule. I will be as ruthless as I possibly can be.

Essentially, if I see you on TBN forum, I will ban you. Its not a nice place and those are not the sort of users we want in our community. If you want to be part of the freebie scene, then you need to stop using TBN. Simple as that!

In addition to this I have cleared my schedule for the next 2 weeks to implement new fraud detection methods. Quite simply, if I smell a rat, you'll be banned and you will have to prove your identity under very complex conditions set by me. Unfortunately moving forward, if you fall under a high risk category, under KUDOS rules you are now guilty until proven innocent.

My business; my rules.

Genuine, real users have nothing to worry about here! This post is not aimed at 99% of exceem users, but the 1% that ruin it for the rest.

Hmm, if a referral completes an offer that he want, i can't give him an attention to thank him that he signed up to kudos as my referral?(Paypal goodies, licenses of my apps etc?)

I'm very angry with these cheaters, i was working in 2 referrals, and suddently the offers disappeared, and now i'm gonna be harmed.

Lee i understand you, but, what can you do to improve the security???

We need a revolution against these guys!

How'd you think I feel? Ive built this business from the ground up and it's my livelihood. It's how I pay my bills and look after my family.

They are putting my entire life at risk!

Yep, and I worked damn hard and waited to have a baby because I wanted to be able to stay home with him. I'll never get this time back, and now I'll probably have to go back to work

What these (insert expletive here) TBN'rs don't realise is that they are effecting someones business.

The sad thing is they are probably reading this and laughing.

Perhaps when they get a little older and a little wiser, they will realise there are consequences to their selfish actions. They are seeking a few extra dollars to spend on sweeties and fizzy drinks, but the knock-on effect is that me and my family will have to move house. Our life will change dramatically if I have to close down KUDOS because of lack of offers.

In addition to this, genuine users will lose a good income stream.

All for a few $'s.... it would be funny if it weren't so damn upsetting!

If they are reading this I hope they are shaking in their nappies at the thought of their details being passed onto the police etc.

They would have to be pretty stupid to not realize what they were doing was illegal or just plain wrong for that matter.

We will carry on doing everything we can. The problem is that the fraud gives us a bad reputation. Some advertisers won't even consider working with us because they think we will send them bad traffic. Intuit themselves had a policy not to work with incentive sites, and they actually added us to their programme by mistake. They were so pleased with the quality of our traffic, they contacted us and asked us back. That was obviously before the fraudsters cheated it.

I first joined TBN a while back(1 year ago) I think.
I used to be into playing runescape and wanted to buy the gold that people were selling there.

While my trip there, I saw a whole bunch of people using VCCs and VPS's to complete offers. I made a thread there asking why people were doing these blackhat methods just to make a quick 50 bucks or something. People started hating, and I eventually got banned for asking this question.

Oh, and i sord of flamed everyone there because I used to have a shiftcode site back then(GPT) and tried to advertise there. They totally raped all my offers and got me banned from most of the CPA networks
