Intuit/Homestead = GONE

Well you can't say you weren't warned.

We have lost the Intuit and Homestead offers (effective immediately) because of the levels of fraud we were referring.

To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. We worked closely with this company to provide our users with 2 quality free-trial offers. Unfortunately the minority have ruined it (once again) for the rest.

Let me say that if you (aimed at no-one inparticular) continue to defraud the companies we promote, this entire freebie industry will collapse on it's heels. Nobody will get anything. Abusing these great offers for short term gain is idiotic as now they are lost to all.

Please, PLEASE bear this in mind the next time we find a good company to work with.

Dont make my efforts to find a new offer to be in vein. We dont want to lose anymore because of fraud!!!

I won't repeat everything Lee has said above but I echo his sentiments. They may return in future with much improved fraud detection systems but we don't have any firm guarantees on this. To give you an example of this fraud - I had one user who created over 50 duplicate referral accounts and managed to sign up to Intuit/Homestead through every one. People were also using stolen credit card details, virtual credit cards - practically every fraud you can think of.

Absolutely gutted. This is such a shame and another massive blow to the freebie scene. It's people like this who make it so hard to convince people that these systems actually work. When people see others doing well, then it turns out they've been fraudulent and complain that it's all a scam that's what everyone sees (as they're the ones who spread their complaints across the internet.) You rarely see posts saying "I love them, they're great, they're real" and you're more likely to see "They didn't send me my gift" (because I scammed them of course, but I won't tell you that)

Anyway... this is really sad news and could be the 2nd big nail in the coffin after Lovefilm's demise.

agreed, altho saying that surely people from exceem wouldnt fraud the system as they know what can happen, and they know that the owners of the freebie sites are members??

Maybe not the more established members - although the recent FB incident demonstrates that anything is possible - but there's bound to be an element of the fraudsters who are registered here.

I could be wrong but imagine instances of fraud generally went up when the networks expanded internationally.

Certainly wouldn't want to be promoting Halifax until I see some of my 22 pendings turn one way or the other. Not a single one has changed in any shape or form as yet.
