Facebook feature removed from kudosNetwork...

Hi all,

As most of you are aware, the kudosNetwork domain has been blacklisted on FB. This is due to excessive spamming and flooding from kudos users.

I'm pretty pi*sed off but not a lot I can do now. I will try my hardest to get it sorted but nowt is going to happen until the New Year.

Therefore it is with regret that I announce that the FB feature has been switched off for the time being across the entire kudosNetwork.

i gotta say i put my website link up about twice never got no hits from it, so thought how **** it was spamming abusebook.

but i did notice a hell of alot of kudos and freebiejeebies links on there

also sorry for bumping the thread im back at work so i have loads of freetime on my hands

i actully only did it cause a member suggested it on here.

Sorry to hear that, Lee.
I know you put alot of work into that feature for the benefit of members so it's unfortunate that it was those members that caused the problem.

Are you classing signups from facebook as spam? i.e, are the spammers accounts going on hold?

I posted kudos 1 time using bit.ly id like to apologize for fueling the fire, but I was unaware of the scale.

Funny how people come on here saying spamming trolls etc but it you had a method you would do the same so dont give me this lol.

Admittedly there were a few spamming like mad, but some used their head.

Wow firstly my facts are right, you did answer how the kudos link was blacklisted for spam because as you said you had seen loads of Kudos links on there, which is spam. Even if you didn't directly ask a question there was one there with an answer to follow.

I never once accused you of spamming your site or your kudos or any other network link nor did I accuse anyone else on here of doing such acts. I too saw the links but without IP logs e.t.c how would you know they were from eXceem, hence it would be wrong to accuse without proof.

The thread isn't a feud about who caused it, they know who they are and I am sure Lee does too, if action is to be taken it will, if it's not then it won't, it's up to Lee, so there's no point bickering about it in Lees update on the subject .

Have to say I feel incredibly sorry for you Lee, I am sure it took a lot of coding/testing, not to mention learning their API to set that up for the users of Kudos only to have it thrown back at you, it's just another case of the minority spoiling it for the majority.

Good Luck Lee on trying to getting something resolved with them!

EDIT: Is it any wonder I hadn't noticed this thread sooner, posts made in it aren't appearing on the homepage sidebar :S

i always feel websites like facebook, ebay etc are the ideal places for spammers etc as there are so many users etc
if i knew there would be reprocussion etc by putting my website noT my kudos LINK i wouldnt of even put it there, and i didnt get one sign up from it lol.

i wouldnt of even thought of it if a member of exceem didnt say about there method about putting it on popular letters etc.
anyway i feel part of letting lee ect down by putting my aweful website on a letter on facebook, and i hope the facebook link comes back to kudos as i use to use it all the time etc.
i gotta say with the spamming on facebook i saw loads on there from freebiejeebies and kudos why i can see why facebook, kudos and freebiejeebies were pee'd off with it, i still wonder what percentage were exceem members probebly a few like me who struggle to get greens.
ne way sorry lee n hope it gets resolved, as your hard work has been undone by some (including me ) kudos members.
