| iPod Nano 4GB | Still being a n00b - if someone is declined it goes red. Do they stay as red or do they go back to yellow? The decline I had just went from red to yellow?

They may decide to complete another offer, and then go back to green.

| iPod Nano 4GB | Cheers. So if he's reverted back to yellow does that mean he's proactively got in touch with you and raised a ticket to have it removed or is it something that's done automatically?

| iPod Nano 4GB | Cool, means if they've done that already they may be intent on taking up a new offer. Cheers for the help

| Has a Aussie Fiancé ♥ | I don't know why people can't follow simple instructions. Sign up for 14 days & recieve your DVDs I don't know why people have to be silly & do the C word, as it not that expensive only £3.99 per month. Life would be so easy if there wasn't Declines. Rant over! Tippy

| Call me Ben .... | It's a really good service so it's a shame people cant receive the one dvd. I completed the offer on Kudos recently for the first time and was surprised how good it was but i decided i don't have the money atm to warrent subscribing but i definitely will look back into it in the future as the service was great. I'm annoyed Lovefilm are revoking and not accepting. My offer has been pending for 3 weeks now, it's going to go through but looks like i will have to wait for next week's automatic thing which is slightly annoying! |

![]() | Had my first decline today, which was odd, because they guy who signed up before him and completed the offer successfully (as far as I know) hasn't gone green yet...looks like lovefilm are quick to decline, but not so quick to accept! |

and also be interesting to know if these revokes are just on incentive site accounts or across the board (I am not sure if their is a special scheme for incentive sites)

| Call me Ben .... | Well it was 3 weeks ago i completed it and i cancelled on the 13th day (8 days ago) so i guess if i revoked i would have by now? Would be pissed if i do revoke though! I had a nice chat with the guy on the phone though which is surprising as i hate talking on the phone for that long but we talked a fair bit about lovefilm and a few questions i had and coming back to it in the future. |

![]() | isn't the offer just for 2 DVD's? I thought after you had received your 2nd DVD (i.e. when they sent you your third) that the trial was over and they started charging you, in which case your status would have to change to green. Maybe that was just for the package I was on (the cheapy £3.61/month, 2 DVDs/month)? |

![]() ![]() ![]() | I have heard back from LF on this matter and have been assured by them that all of the declines are indeed genuine and will not be reversed. A lot of you are struggling with these events but let me assure you that nothing fishy is going on. LF have, in the past, been way too lenient with approving credits. What this means is that even if a customer wasn't fully completing the requirements, they could still find themselves approved. This was mainly due to inefficient systems and work practises, and had lead us all into a false rate of conversions. The past 2 declined batches were ran through the new system. Last time there was a mistake, and some users were incorrectly declined. This has since been resolved. Friday's declined batch was also ran through the new system, with no mistakes! Today, the approved batch was run as some of you will no doubt have noticed. In a nutshell, it works like this: If you have fully completed the requirements when the approved batch is run, then you will be approved. If you haven't, then you will remain pending, until either the trial is up and you haven't rented a DVD, or a payment fails etc. Then you will be declined when the declined batch is run. If neither of these events occur (approve or decline) before the 28 day mark, then you will be approved automatically. Hope that all makes sense. Lee. p.s. If you still feel you, or one of your referrals, have been declined when you/they shouldn't have been, please DO get in touch! |
