I've always wondered how LoveFilm actually make any money, people sign up, get 2 free movies then cancel and they still pay out on referrals!

Because a lot of people don't cancel Lovefilm are reasonably priced, have a wide selection of DVDs/games available, a very easy to use website and, in my experience, their customer service is very good as well.

They are good but it still doesn't explain why they pay out on referrals for the people who do cancel.

I'm trying to cancel now (I've had the account over a year) and you can no longer do it online you need to call them (which is crap).

when i cancelled my membership after a few months it was possible to cancel online if you went on the website after 10pm at night i think it was.

i totally agree i hate calling companies up to leave them

It is agreed with LF that a customer is a customer, whether they cancel or not. Obviously we encourage our members to trial the service and if they are happy, then continue using it.

If somebody cancels but has trialled the service probably, to the point where the offer is approved, then LF agree that this customer is a quality one and could come back in the future.

There's a fine line, but overall, it is profitable for LOVEFiLM to work with incentive sites. We have been working together to make sure of this going forward.

I have been emailing and chasing this up tirelessly since it all kicked off.

I dont really have much news to report. The recent declines (inc today's) are all valid. Contrary to many moans on exceem from people, I have only had 1 email with proof. This is being looked into.

If you feel that todays validation is incorrect please email me using the email address below. I will need proof screenshots but in the first instance, just make contact by email and I will discuss with you further.

Well, not a lot of progress I'm afraid to say.

This is a very frustrating situation. Basically I have forwarded the proof over to the necessary people and I am now awaiting resolution.

We will see but please don't get your hopes up. I'm doing my best though

Just want to say thank you to Lee at Kudos, my revoked offer finally went green and to make things even better, my revoked refferal who I thought I was going to lose also went green.

I'm on holiday at the moment so haven't been checking the forums at all, but I had some time today and checked my Kudos account and there it was. I had lost hope so it's good to see it has been fixed.
