"Itemid" thingy on Kudos...

You know on freebiejeebies where you put "itemid" at the end of your ref link and that item comes up, I was wondering if you could do the same on Kudos. If you can, how do I find out the id's of each item?

Unfortunately you can't do that on Kudos.

it's not on kudos yet but would be nice....as long as they dont get abuse for "copying" lol

What you can do, though is, for example if you go to gifts.kudosnetwork and if you want the person to choose Xbox 360 Elite, you can add #reward_10 at the end of the url and the page will jump to that item.

You can find the numbers for each gift, somewhere in the website source.

Alternatively, you can use the Customise Kudos feature and move your selected item to the top of the list. That way itll be selected when the page loads.

But Djoscar's method is better, to be fair

How easy would it be for you to knock up a quick list of the item i.d.s, assuming they remain the same across the sites?

They aren't the same from one site to the next unfortunately.

It'd be a bit difficult to name each one tbh.

i use this feature but agree i would prefer the id thing as i have many urls and like to use the appropriate one .

ie say www.freeps3 .. defaults to a ps3 as the selected gift

www.freeipod defaults to ipod as a free gift etc

(those are just made up urls but you get the idea )

ill use the method mentioned above now but would be nice to get an official feature/list of ids

Its something I've thought about before but disregarded. If it's a feature which you would find useful then Ill certainly take a look at it.
