They are probably wanting some continued play, but they only state that sign up deposit and play 5 is enough to get the green - looks like I'll be losing 3 referrals then

i had someone do this for me yesterday and still it says "no offer completed"

Please don't tell me i need to send in a screeny cos there is no way that my ref will do that. It was hard enough talking him into signing in the first place.

I think they are looking for some continued play but you are correct, that wasn't stipulated on the offer requirements.

So basically they are saying you will go green if you win money and keep on winning money for a certain period of time...

Hi,

What happens about the one's we had sign up to that VC offer but are pending or haven't tracked? I was hoping all 4 would go green then I would get one free? Are they now all seen as defunct?

We should all ask for our money back, seing the only reason we had a flutter was to complete the offer, without the greens we would have never even bothered.

Shoddy business if you ask me, turning on their word, I suppose offtel, offcom won't be able to do anything about this one.

I don't think that demanding money back is the answer, or contacting any regulatory bodies.

I feel a bit sorry for Lee on this, he seem to be trying his best to sort it but is kopping flak from all over on VC's behalf .....

I can understand people frustrations but maybe a bit of patience is needed whilst he continues to talk with VC.

Unfortunately, nbat58's comment is exactly the problem.

Only joining a site to get a green is the reason that companies like VC are being strict with their crediting.

If you think of it from their point of view, they want long term custom. I am in talks with them and hope to come to some sort of compromise over the issue. They understand the business model and are giving it some thought.

When I said we should ask for our money back, I have included the networks in that statment, as they have also lost a lot out of this.

When I mentioned that people (freebie scene) do the betting offers strictly for greens, is true, we can't beat around the bush with that one and admittedly some of us like the service and we keep using it.

The advertisers pay the networks to direct people to thier sites to try offers and maybe hang around and become long term customers but what they can't do is force people to like their service.

If the advertisers would like customers to become long term users they only have to say so prior to the customer signing up to the offers, then everyone knows where they stand.
If I take a year hosting service or a year break down service with the AA or RAC; I don't expect either to come back and say to me: "oh sorry we changed our mind, made up some new rules now and you have to take two years to be eligible to become a member".

I maybe wrong but this is MHO.

I wish you all the best in sorting the problem out Lee, I know it's not easy especially having to run a business as well, I know this is part of it, but in my book a unecessary added problem for you to resolve.
