New GREAT offer...

I have added "bwin" to all the kudosnetwork sites this morning.

This new offer is another sports betting site. But they also have Poker and Casino areas aswell, which you can use to spend your £7+ as far as I can see.

They accept paypal and BT Click&Buy. This is where you can use your BT phone bill to deposit money to bet.

It only requires a £7 deposit which is fantastic!!

Hope it helps.

Ill update regarding pending status etc when I know more.

Not sure if you've already checked on this etc. but this is the one that Richard had someone to test the other day, and there was a problem with it crediting without a deposit.

Perhaps something you should look in to?

Ive tested it and have reported the problem too.

However I decided to run the offer regardless with a temporary pending credit until they sort the problem.

tbh, if this wasn't announced publicly then nobody would have known!!

I may aswell take the chance now to say if anybody completes this offer make sure you deposit the money, because it will only get reversed if you don't.

As soon as the problem with the crediting is rectified, I will remove the pending status and the offer will credit as green straight away. Lets not ruin this one eh??

Don't know how others would feel, but I would argue that posting a new offer with knowledge that there are problems is not a good way to run the business. Did you just see this as an opportunity to 'beat' FreebieJeebies into launching the offer? If so the competition is clearly getting to you, as Richard found the offer first and you just wanted to beat him to it by posting it and pretending that there weren't any problems (as Richard had not named the offer to date).

What will you do if people think they have lots of greens from this offer, then in a couple of weeks time many will be revoked, and you sanctioned this? What was your cover story going to be? That you never knew?

I'm surprised and disappointed at you Lee for running Kudos in such a manner Always thought you were a good and honest network, but I just saw a different side to you today.

WOW!

Where did that come from mate!!

I think you have mistaken me Chigley!!

I didnt know Richard was testing the offer. I simply added it to my network. Im not trying to 'beat' anyone!

I dont see any problem with launching this offer now. It tracks well and as long as you follow the requirements of the offer then it will be ok. It will only be reversed for those that dont deposit.

Im sorry you feel disappointed but I feel very strongly about being accused of bad doing or underhand behaviour. I can assure you have taken this the wrong way!!

I think you can deposit within 7 days and it will still count.

Someone had to say it! I've always liked you Lee but it looks to me like your attitude has changed somewhat.

If you didn't know that Richard was already in the works of sorting this offer out, then that's fine and you can discount what I said about trying to beat him to it earlier. It looked to me like he was being the honest owner and waiting, while in the meantime you were rushing to add it. If this is not the case then I apologise for the appropriate comments above.

This still doesn't change that you omitted the fact that this offer will credit before anyone has made a deposit. You're telling me that you'd have still added the offer if this had occurred was a few weeks after you're network launch? I think not. You'd have waited until it was all hunky dory and then added you offer. The comment "tbh, if this wasn't announced publicly then nobody would have known!!" secures this argument from me - you knowingly hid vital information from the community.

Whether I've completely misunderstood you or not, my opinion stands and I'm hurt to say that you have disappointed me today Lee

I didnt know anything about this offer with regard to any other network, inc FJ.

I can assure you that no wrong doing was intended. I am managing the tracking issues and would take the hit if things went wrong, as I have in the past.

I feel like you have overstepped the line a bit tbh as you have inside knowledge which seems to have given you a biased view of the situation.

I wouldn't have added it if I felt like there were going to be problems.

The main thing is getting greens, and if somebody done this offer, I would stand by it if it got reversed as long as they could prove that the deposit was made. For that reason I added it. I don't see any dishonest behaviour there.

I'm not interested in turning this into a debate. Ill end it now by saying that the offer will remain and any problems with it are being monitored closely by me. It seems 18 months of honest and decent behaviour don't count for much for old Chiggers!!

This was the offer that I tested the other day and we highlighted the error then. To be honest though, what each network owner does is their own business, this isn't a playground competition.

What, like LOVEFiLM, where there is a pending status before someone receives their DVDs.

Sorry Chigs, but Lee has done nothing at all to warrant you criticism and you are out of order. Would a PM not have sufficed?

From an impartial view as I'm not linked to any network, this looks like sour grapes from Chigley as Lee managed to find a way to make the offer work with the issues that are known and so implemented the offer before you.

I work in a software development environment, and this kind of thing happens all the time where software is released with known issues, but there is a workaround to make it work as expected.

With this offer, Lee has found a way to manage the issues so that the offer appears to work as expected for the end user, and so has taken the risk issues into consideration and implemented the offer.

I think what Chigley said about Lee's running of the network is a bit harsh.

Seems like it's all members of eXceem versus me here (which upsets me slightly - even if you are in complete disagreement there is no need to make me feel like an outcast), therefore this is the last post I'll make on the matter.

Regardless of how many posts are made saying I'm in the wrong, I still stand by the opinions which I have. I'm not saying Kudos is a bad network, it's been incredibly well run since launch, and I doubt that will change in the years to come. I was just shocked and disappointed at first when I learned this news.

I've always been one to have strong morals and will argue endlessly for what I believe is right. In retrospect, a PM to Lee may have been the better way to do this, so as not to damage his fantastic reputation which he's built up over the recent years.

I apologise for causing a fuss in public, and agree that a PM would have been the better option for me to have chosen. It didn't even cross my mind at the time, I was just eager to argue my point.

Hopefully any newcomers reading this thread will ignore this debate when deciding whether to choose KudosNetwork.

My opinion.......

Quite often when I log into tradedoubler I see new offers listed and wonder if a freebie site will add them. The bwin offer was also there and expected a few sites to add it. I don't see it as a case of kudos trying to beat FJ because kudos could have announced it first and then FJ would then be accused (wrongly) of copying.

From what i see, one offer isn't going to make people switch all their links from one network to another. I work on both sites and think they both offer a fantastic service and i could split them if i had to vote but the more offers available to possible referrals has to be good for us all.

I do hope that there are no problems with this offer and hope that kudos and fj continue to add fantastic offers that help us all. i dont see it as a competition because there are enough greens etc to go around

Have to add that coming in from work and seeing this thread has been a bit of a disapointment, sadly.

If people take a different view then they are going to say as much, don't take it so personally.

Incidentally, had you not realised that the first network to announce the offer was actually Incentives4U, last night, not Kudos!

Yes Rob from I4U announced it yesterday and he too is (in my opinion) a good honest and upright network owner as is Lee. I really don't see that an attempt at 1 upmanship has taken place. Lee and Rob have simply added good cheap offers to their networks and i am guessing that both are honest enough to stand by the greens should any problems arise.

I appreciate the point you are trying to make chigley, but i think each network should be able to run things however they like and with such trustworthy network owners i really don't think it will be an issue.

Just to point out that the credits that have come through so far have been converted to pending as they had credited as approved.

This was due to a fault with some time calculations.

Apologies.

The pending status, as stated above is temporary until the issues are ironed out.

Ill keep you informed.

Yup, I saw it there to, and before FJ did the offer testing thread IIRC.

People accuse other freebie sites of copying ideas/offers/design, which if you looked at it in one way it would be the case, but from the flip of the coin its multiple companies with the same business model and pushy customers who would be demanding X site adds Y offer after Z site has already added it.

Lets take the whole idea of free greens - this was a idea I came up when a new network asked for ideas to promote themselves on eXceem, now its considered the norm, you don't see me complaining that everyone has stolen my idea! Similarities will always exist with freebie sites/networks, the differences will be in over all desing/branding, cusotmer service and value for money (i.e ref rates) but its these 3 things that make up a network.
