I'm a regular on some football message boards and over the last few days I've seen spammers posting there links on a message board where it is clearly against the rules of this board. To make matters worse, they don't just post it once, they post it multiples of times.

I can give you a link to where it has been posted and the referal number of the person posting it if you like. Should this person be put on permanent hold or do you allow this kind of behaviour? It's not allowed on these message boards so nor should it be allowed on others in my book.

to be honest in my view its the disgresion (sorry spelt wrong) of the message board, not kudos or the like. yes spammng is crap but its worse getting it via email than on a forum were it dosnt fill ure inbox you just dont have to read the topic etc.

i agree with that.

SuperPob, a person is trying his hardest to get some greens. It might be for a present for his daughter for xmas or something and here you are trying to get the poor sap on hold. I agree spamming is wrong but it might be their first offense, they needn't be put on hold, just a slight slap on the wrist should suffice.

No, spamming is not acceptable, what ever the reasons/circumstances behind it.

Every network has a notice about not spamming/posting without permission, and from what I understand this member posted the same thread in every forum on that website.

Its these spammers that harm the reputation of freebie sites, as they just create an association linking them to people spamming the life out of forums, and it can also affect potential new offers as advertisers won't want to be linked to spam.

Im in the process of dealing with it but all I get is abuse.

If the members of that forum where a bit friendlier I would be more inclined to sorting it out.

If you can PM me with a link to the posts in question, Ill take a look.
