Hey all,

15th August marks the first anniversary of kudosNetwork, and what a year it's been!!

To celebrate, here's a competition for you all.

The rules are simple...


...there are 3 prizes on offer.

...and it is truly is open to EVERYONE!!!!!


All you need to do to enter the draw is get 1 green. Now this can be a pending green or a full green. As soon as you have your green, post in this thread, choosing a number between 1 and 49. (ensure it hasn't been picked already by reading through the thread). You can post as many times as you wish. So everytime you get a green (or pending) post in this thread and pick a number!!!

The draw will close on 15th August at midnight.....

...and on Saturday 16th August 2008 the winner will be announced on The National Lottery show. That's right - the 1st, 2nd & 3rd number picked on that date will be the winners. (IMPORTANT: this is the 1st, 2nd & 3rd number out of the machine)

Edit: I will extend the comp until midnight Tuesday 19th. The lottery draw on Wednesday 20thwill now decide the winners.

...and the prizes are:


1st: iPod touch - 8Gb
2nd: Nintendo DS
3rd: iPod Shuffle - 2GB


That's it.....nice and simple....get 1 green, and post.

TERMS:

* If more than 49 people qualify for comp then numbers will be re-allocated, and if two people win then the one with the most yellows will win. In the event of a draw, it will come down to whoever got the green first (I have dates and times)
* The National Lottery show on the 16th August 2008 will decide the winner. In the event of this not taking place, the following week will be used. Once the draw has taken place, the comp ends.
* In the event of the number not being held by a user, then the user who is closest to the number will win. For the purposes of this comp number 1 is next to number 49, so as to create a loop. In the event of 2 users being equidistant from the winning number then the one with the most yellows will win
* kudos decision is final.

Nice... although the method-men will just get all 49 entries before poor people like me can get one! (unless I understood it wrong... multiple entries are allowed, right?)

OK. To make it fair lets say only 5 entries per person.

GOOD QUESTION!!

To be fair, only one prize per person.

In the event of a person winning second (or third) prize, the next nearest number will be the winner.

Ill make its all fair and honest.

So because we can have multiple entries does that change the meaning of the first condition: "if more than 49 people enter", will that just become if more than 49 entries are given then the numbers will double up, rather than 49 people?
Although even with the "method" people added, 49 confirmed greens in less than a week probably won't happen!

Lee, could you clarify when this comp started from? Did it start with your first post here?

Will just make it clearer for people like myself who have pendings

The comp started from the time of the first post.

Existing pendings do not count and when they turn green, that doesn't count either.

It has to be greens/pendings that are initially credited between the time of the 1st post, and midnight on the 15th August.

If you have had green/pendings credit today, submit a ticket on the site in question and Ill let you know if they count.

which of the offers on the kudos sites carry a pending status, is it just lovefilm? I'm making a trade page to try and get a green before the deadline so my only chance is if people do coral, gala, lovefilm or another pending status offer so if i can tell them what that is then it'll be a big help, cheers!

asda finance has a pending status.....though I didnt even know that offer existed, lol.

Thanks Arctic! Just checking though did you find that out because one of your referrals did it for you or otherwise? because if so might it have gone pending due to a manual credit process rather than because it actually has a pending status?

I only found out when i got an email from kudos saying one of my referrals had done that offer and it was pending. Until then i didnt know there was an asda offer.
