Not much of a difference apple obviously offers all apple products, gifts offer a wider range.

I'd just say dont rely on trades, there are many other ways of getting referrals for free! Such as a website, twitter, Facebook, friends, etc etc. Just think outside the box and think about what made you sign up then act on it!
