Guten Abend

Hey.
I'm John W - 'JDub', and this is my introduction.
I'm 17, and I'm from the Isle of Wight.
Yes, in case you were wondering, we do have electricity here, and no, we don't drive on the right-hand side of the road.
I've found these forums after registering on FJ, and I intend on creating my own site to gain refs on FJ.
This is me:

I left school at 16, got an apprenticeship in Business Administration at a local radio station, which I have recently quit, and am currently unemployed, yet, have had offers from potential employers in the media industry.

I registered on here as it seems like a friendly, down-to earth community.
(I wouldn't say that I'm particuarly down-to-earth.)
I have my own style, and I am very opinionated.

But overall, I'm a pretty friendly person.

Oh, and I'm also a photographer.

Enough about me, I'm going to make some posts!

See you around the boards.

JDub.

I'd like to say we do, but unfortunately, we don't!
Only I have an amazingly large tea cup on the Isle of Wight, nowhere here sells them!
I had to go all the way up to the Peak District to get mine!!!

You quit school, you quit the apprenticeship, you have had offers from potential employers... sounds like a lot of wasted opportunity there!

Not that I'm judging or anything, as I know nothing about you, but I am just curious as to why none of the above suited you and where you are trying to take your life instead!

I hope I'm not being too nosy...

I left school after I'd taken my GCSE's and got all of them.
I quit the apprenticeship, but currently have an offer to move apprenticeship placements, so I'll still be doing an apprenticeship whatever happens.
Had an offer to work for a local paper, but my apprenticeship training advisor has to look into how suitable it is for me there, etc.
I quit the job at the radio because they just couldn't give me enough work to do. I was doing the same things day in, day out, I wasn't able to really excell myself to my full potential, and get enough to evidence what I needed to gain my apprenticeship.

Does this make sense now?

Yeah that does make sense. And hey, if the glove doesn't fit, don't force it!
