Complete Newbie!

Hi there!

I signed up to the apple freebiejeebies site yesterday after watching a video about how to get a free ipod. I thought it would be really easy, just ask my friends to sign up too. But they all think its a scam and wont go near it :'(

I was really excited at the prospect of finally replacing my old 2003 model ipod which is covered in scratches and the fully charged battery lasts 30 mins

But it seems like I'll never get the referrals for it. So I saw the link from freebiejeebies to here, and thought I'd give it a go

Im 28, female, from the UK. I dont work atm due to health problems and spend most of my time on my PC.

So Im looking for tips on how to get those referrals, I've noticed the "get a free <item>" sites all over the web, and Im assuming thats how most people do it? I have my own set up on the host I signed up to, to complete my offer, but the only hits it has had so far are from my friends, who aren't interested.

I've seen those conga threads too, but to my understanding it wont work for me as I've already joined the apple.freebiejeebies site. Is that right?

I'm extremely shy and dont leave my house much so my options for getting referrals are limited, any help would be appriciated!

Oooh, also, I've noticed those pictures that people have in their signatures about their progress on their items, where do you get those from?

EDIT: Forgot to add that I signed up and did the web hosting offer yesterday, but the site still says "offer not completed" is this normal? :S

Where XXXX is your referral code...
