morning.

i have just set up a new site to go with the hundred, possibly thousands of referrals sites about.

pretty much i have set it up just get get my girlfriend an iphone 3gs... and thats pretty much it.

if you can give me any good tips on getting people signed up and completing offers it would be very much appreciated. i am now going to have a good look round here and see whats cracking.

Welcome, the boards have a lot of information.

YUse our imagination to think up new methods of how to get people to sign up for you. Start with friends and family as this is normally the easiest way to get referrals.

i have started with the site - found online | free gadgets - how does it work? and blasted that around facebook and twitter, also using some free facebook advert credit i ave to promote it a little more.

currently have 6 people pending after about 3 days... not sure how good or bad that is.

That is great. I have been at this for about 18 months and get about 1-2 pending/greens a week so you have started well.

you pendings stats are great two if you keep that going and they go green you'll have one wiithin 2 months

i have been hammering the site and referral link round lots of people so i think the current stats are high due to that, i think it will level off to far fewer over the next week.

how does the trading thing work? i will have a look.

you have to be allowed access after i think 5 meaningful post ect about a few days or weeks on exceem then you'll be able to trade with someone but remember you can't do the site you r on now etc or get someone in your household to do that site either.but any other fj's or kudos sites are allowed

Just been looking at your site and noticed you have said in step 3 of your guide about cancelling offers, this is against the terms and conditions of most freebie networks, also not sure if its just my browser or whatever but witht he amount of text you have in step 3 it runs below the border of the white bg box.

Still, nice site, wish I could design something as good as that

nice sites,, but to have a link to them in your sig, im pretty sure you have to have a link back to exceem on them. oh and welcome!

thanks for the heads up on the terms i shall amend this.
what browser are you using, are you on a netbook? i have tried to test on as many browsers as poss but sometimes there are text/div areas issues on netbooks.

Thank you, i am glad you like the look. in your professional opinion would this sort of look convince people to sign up and complete?
it took about 3 hours to make the basic site and then about another 2 hours messing with bits.

i will pop a little graphic in for the exceem link tomorrow

Haha I'm no professional, but yes I think that could convert pretty nicely, depends how you go about advertising it, though I would suggest SEO, even though it's the hardest thing to do with building a website, it's well worth it in the end.

We've seen some pretty terrible sites put together within that short space of time, so yours is good

Few more improvements when you feel like it, and all should go well
