Like most other people posting on here, I am new to this kind of thing.

I found the link via the FreebieJeebies Portal and thought I would give here a shot to get hints and tips on how to push out my referal ID out and how to get people interested in this kind of thing.

Anyway, a bit about me.

My name is Dan, I am 23. It will either be myself or my partner using this account. We're both interested in seeing how these kind of promotions and 'free sites' work out for us

I'm guessing it's something like, Active Referals, Incomplete Referals and Total Needed?

I saw somewhere where you could change the default referral item by modifying the link given but I can't find it now.

Trying to work on a website to have links etc on, and want to focus mostly on 1 thing (iPhone overall). Is there a way to have different default things, but still get the points for the iPhone? Really can't remember where I saw the post now!

I'll post in the support thread if this was bad of me.

yep, 5 minutes to edit the post...

Whenever anyone signs up for any item under you, that's one of your referrals. You can use that to get whatever (iPhone in this case). You've signed up to Gadgets and Apple... Which one will you be linking to or will it be both? Remember that anyone can get anything from the sites but the picture may not be there for that item... so in Apple you can get a Nintendo Wii (as a custom order) but you wont have the picture for it as an option for "choose gift"...

I'll be starting off on the iPhone for now. Desperately need a new phone, and this seems the best option. I think I understand how to work it so the user will see various items (whichever they click).
