Yet Another Newbie

Pretty sure my story isn't unique.
I've wanted an iPhone for a while and was looking around for the best way to get a cheap one. eBay was being a pain and the internet in general was being a bit mean and actually wanting me to pay for stuff. What kind of madness is that? If I could afford one I'd just go and buy it at a store, right?

A couple of minutes on Google and here I am. No idea what to do about completing my own offer, let alone finding 16 people to do the same, but I figure I have nothing to lose by poking around the community. If nothing else, it'll give me something to do at work!

And a bit about me. I'm a Scotsman living in London, I'm in a band and we just recorded the first half of our first album. Keeping track of gigs and other band stuff is one of the reasons I want a decent phone. I have a boring 9 to 5:30 job, I spend my free time playing games on PC, 360 and PS3. Saturday there was my birthday. Exciting stuff

I hope to make use of the community so I can get my greasy paws on free stuff. Since I have some birthday money left over I might even be able to get into some congas to help other folks out. Right now I'm stuck because my LoveFilm offer hasn't gone green yet

Cheers. Zep are probably our biggest influence, although I keep trying to get them interested in some more contemporary stuff as well (and failing). Shall I mark you down for a CD once the second half of the album is done?

You can start getting referrals regardless of wether your offer is completed or not.

Your band are good by the way, what instrument do you play?
