Somebody name-dropped this website whilst I was riding the tube. Seemed interesting so I joined.

So! People get free gifts, but there seems to be a lot of networking involved.

I hope that you all will be kind to me, and I will try to be a good contributing member to these forums.

As such, how do I go about starting here? How can I get on the "ladder"? I've read several introductions and the WiKi is just a whole splatterpage of info I can't take in one go! LOL

Hey there, and welcome to eXceem!

To start off, you need to sign up to a network, like KudosNetwork, Freebiejeebies, etc.
Then you need to complete one offer.
And lastly, refer some friends, who complete an offer each

Thank you for your quick welcoming warm responses! I signed up with FweebieJeebwies and went ahead with a LoVEFiLM offer, which I felt was the most convenient. It's also nice to see that the people around here are generally nice. I can see myself becoming a regular here!

I definitely would like to get a PS3. I think it's a great platform. Although I have yet to familiarise myself, or rather, get in the groove of the lingo here.

What exactly are greens? LOL

I want to join the Congo PS3, how long will it take (on average) for a round to go through? Are we talking about several months here?

A green is someone who completed an offer under your referral link. If you have 1 person that does that, you say "i have one green".
Congas can take anywhere from a month to ages, its hard to tell. It depends on how popular it is.
