Hey, as I said in the title, my name is Alice.
I live in London, UK, and I have an Apple Macbook... I know it runs on Leopard, and it's an OS X system, but other than that I have no idea about what this thing actually is. I just love it to pieces!
I signed up here because I recently signed up and completed an introductory offer thing on a website called apple.freebies (or something like that) and now I just have to get the whole referrals thing done.. I don't think any of my friends would be willing! I do have a couple of questions though..

How do I know that site is legitimate? Like if I get the referrals (how many do i need btw?) how do I know I'll get my free thing?

Also, I signed up for one of the offers, but it just took my money and didn't ever send me what it was supposed to, and it's been over a month.. What do i do?

welcome to exceem Alice, myself and many more members on her can tell you that apple FJ is legitimate, many people on here have had loads of freegifts from them. How many referrals depends on what gift your after, it should tell you how many you need when you click on the free gift.

What offer did you do

I just looked and it said I've got 0/19 referrals for a 3G apple iphone... but I never wanted one of those!! I just want a little ipod. And it doesn't seem to be letting me change the free gift either... I'm very confused!! Thanks for the welcome though

freebie jeebies hav been having a few problems lately although im not sure if this applies to apple but the Change free gift on mine took me to the offers screen for a while and so did a couple of other links

but i too can vouch for the brilliant FJ for their legitimacy!

ah well I JUST managed to change the gift to an 8GB ipod nano, which only requires 5 referrals

I did the booksdirect offer, and havent received the book! Even though it still took £1.99 out of my bank account. I contacted them a couple of days ago and apparently i can just cancel my account... for a fee of £10. Oh dear. I''m not too bothered about this though. What i'm mostly concerned about now is getting the iPod..

the books for me took a couple of weeks to arrive but they came in the end. you are also obligated to buy 2 more books at full price within a year. so you might as well do that if they are charging £10 to cancel

Yeah I suppose you're probably right. I'm not sure though. I might just cancel, because I really don't like the site. I'd much rather just wander down to Waterstones next time I want a book. If I cancel though, will it affect my status on the freebiejeebies site?

nope but you may need to do a different offer. unless of course you'd rather not - freebiejeebies will allow you to get 3 extra referrals instead of completing an offer yourself. but tbh id just do a different one.

however if you stick to freebie hunting and ever do trades with people then each affordable offer is valuable because you can only do each one once so i would stick to booksdirect if this is your plan as you won't be able to do it in the future.

if you are going to do a different, I can recommend the gala/coral (you can only complete one) where you just deposit £5. They both credit v.quickly
