eXceem - Hi there, frustrated newbie here

Hmm, lets bump a thread over 2 years old, wow

I think my first post is mentioned about every 4 months or so, and never fails to amuse me... yawn.

In my defence (not that I need to defend myself against anyone) is that when I joined, there was no pop ups telling you about not putting links in sigs. I also had my link in other forum sigs before I joined exceem so didnt know it wouldnt be allowed so removed it as soon as I was told this and have tried to keep to the rules ever since.

Like I said, I dont need to defend myself as I did what I was told and went on to be a regular poster. I'm not one of those (naming no names) who constantly seem to be newbie touting or regularly making posts directing people to their congas.

Like I said before....why bother?

Wow, some major bumpage! And for what reason!?

I think that rather than having to defend himself people should look to this as an inspiration - everyone starts out as a frustrated noob struggling for those greens, but look at what he has achieved since that first post!!

Who knew back then what kind of haul he would end up with, rather than poking fun etc. just be inspired!!

i just read my intro post .. i was such a noob !! i had signed up to about a thousand sites lol never did finish most of em !!!

lol i don't think anyone was berating arctic - surely you can see the funny side of how far you have come. It is very inspirational for newbies to see how far that a normal person who finds it hard to get greens has comes so far. I didn't make an intro post, but almost got banned (i never posted my link!!

) and was on a final warning by Jon

What's the point of archiving old posts if they cant be looked at now and again?

This should be inspirational for newbies to see what is on offer here if you tow the line and put in some effort!

Agreed with Lee

Not only is it inspirational, it also proves that people who have once broken the rules can grow to be a valued member of this society - so maybe we shouldn't jump on newbies so quickly.
